At Valliant Foundation, we believe in giving more than just shelter—we provide essential skills to change lives. Our on-the-job medical training equips individuals with the knowledge and confidence to offer basic medical screenings such as blood pressures and other vital signs and how to interview in medical emergencies to San Francisco's homeless population. This hands-on training ensures that our volunteers and trainees can respond to immediate health needs, bridging the gap in access to medical care while creating a safer, healthier community. Furthermore, our volunteers are trained in motivational interviewing and suicide crisis counseling to address each individual psychological needs as well as physical. Together, we’re empowering others to serve those most in need.
